Премия Билла Дати «Выбор книготорговцев» - канадская литературная премия, ежегодно присуждаемая BC Book Prizes за «лучшую книгу с точки зрения общественной привлекательности, инициативы, дизайна, производства и содержания».

Награда делится между автором и издателем. Чтобы соответствовать требованиям, издатель должен находиться в Британской Колумбии или на Юконе и иметь полный творческий контроль (редактирование, дизайн и производство).

Премия была учреждена в 1985 году . Она названа в честь продавца книг из Британской Колумбии Билла Дати, который основал Duthie Books в 1957 году.

Первоначально премия называлась «Выбор книготорговцев Британской Колумбии в честь Билла Дати», но в 2010 году название было упрощено, чтобы соответствовать другим книжным премиям Британской Колумбии.

Билл Дати (1921 - 1984) родился в Уэстоне, Онтарио, окончил Университет Торонто и служил в Италии во время Второй мировой войны. Он присоединился к книжной торговле в 1947 году в качестве торгового представителя Macmillan of Canada в сельских районах Онтарио и Квебека.
